Beliefs

Our Beliefs sometimes cause us discomfort. The beliefs are established for a good & positive reason to serve us in some way, shape or form. These are basically lies made up or conditioned with to help us frame the way our world looked at that time.  Beliefs are not eternal truths. Beliefs hold us safely until we are ready for the next level of understanding. The discomfort happens when we refuse to let the irrelevant/obsolete beliefs go and evolve beyond them. Hanging onto these beliefs, believing that they are real & that they are true reality creates suffering.

Life is a continual process of renewal, recycling emotions & purging of old beliefs that are causing suffering.  Become aware of and isolate the beliefs/coping skills that no longer serves, causes discomfort, realize the lie in it and set self free of it.

The ego, our psyche, separates us from one another. It is simply a tool that helps us organize the various aspects of our personality to navigate the world. In this sense, the ego is simply a way for us to understand & attend to ourselves at the same time as we understand & attend to the world around us. It is healthy to have ego, but like all things in life, ego functions best when it is in balance & harmony with your whole self.

The problem arises when the ego gets out of control, holds us from realizing our true nature and becomes a threat. Nurture your awareness of who you really are to keep your ego in check, take the responsibility for living your own life. Do not spend time trying to undo what you have done. Rather, change what you are going to do before you do it.

Looking toward the future remain relaxed & alert, listen carefully, pay attention to & believe your inner voice that speaks to you with love, understanding, & compassion, is encouraging, gives you hope & pushes you to trust & believe in yourself, bolsters your spirits & urge you to go after your dreams.

Inner conflict within oneself is often caused by dueling voices inside each one of us. Listening and believing in your true inner voice telling you about your value & your potential, often the voice of understanding, support, & self-assurance helps lessen & even resolve internal conflict. Disregard the voices that interfere with your resolve to succeed, are judgmental, cause confusion, remind you of past mistakes, or cause you to doubt yourself, make you feel ashamed & stop being critical of your failures & afraid of success.

When your body is physically ill, treat your emotions too. - Reiki is effective

When your body is physically ill, treat your emotions too.

Whole-self well-being is, in part, the result of a harmonious flow of energy between our physical & mental selves. Whenever this energy flow is thrown off its balance for any reason, the body & mind react to one another rather than act in cohesion as a unit.

Ongoing stress, sadness, anxiety, excitement & fear can overwhelm the cerebral self, causing traumatic energy to be channeled into the body. The body then responds by taking steps to organically dispel the traumatic energy that has burdened it and expresses it in the form of physical symptoms such as illness, fatigue, or disease.

In some cases, these symptoms can simply be allowed to run their natural course & recovery will come about naturally.

In most instances, however, health & wellness can only be restored by a dual course of treatment that acknowledges both the physical manifestation of energy clearance & the underlying emotional cause.

Many of the ailments we experience over the course of our lives can be indicative of the body’s attempts to process intellectual & emotional energy.

Swollen glands, for example, can signal that you are going through a period of emotional cleansing. Even something as simple as a pimple can indicate that your body is ridding itself of toxins & odd energy.

In Chinese medicine, intense emotions are held in the body’s organs as a matter of course. Grief lurks in the lungs, anger inhabits the liver, fretfulness lingers in the heart, worry is held in the stomach, and the kidneys harbor fright.

Particular illnesses & symptoms represent the body’s attempts to clear emotional energy. Coughs or bronchitis can signify that the physical self is clearing away grief while a loss of appetite may signal that worry is being actively addressed. When you feel ill or imbalanced, treating your whole self rather than treating the physical self alone can empower you to determine the root cause of sickness. Since you understand that your physical symptoms may be an expression of emotional discomfort, you can establish a balanced treatment regimen to ensure that you quickly recover your good health.

Uncontrollable recurrent thoughts/acts

Uncontrollable recurrent thoughts/acts – Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)

Spending a long time in washroom, washing hands again & again, seeking cleanliness/orderliness, checking and rechecking, indulgence in self talk are few symptoms of a personality trait that tests other’s patience and compassion. These embarrassing impulsive socially awkward behavior/actions of an individual develop an uneasy relationship between him and family, friends & colleagues. These acts cause the person significant stress and disruption in daily life. Individual suffers and struggles with the feeling of abandonment, loneliness, gap between ability & aspirations, stigma and apathy. It is the chemical imbalance in brain leads an individual experience recurring thoughts/repetitive actions, one has no control over. Generally we are ill-informed and ill-equipped to deal with these individuals in need of trust and support. Such individuals call for greater care and consideration.

Break the cycle of judging others

Break the cycle of judging others

Judging others is natural to a human being but judging them wrong generates guilt. There are situations, people, disappointments, highs & lows when things don’t go the way compatible with our belief patterns and plan. Irritated by the disruption of one’s peaceful & relaxed atmosphere caused by pre-judging a situation one thinks & acts with others guided by his/her belief patterns that one regrets later.

For example one realizes later that someone was actually a very kind & genuine person rather than rude as thought earlier but by this time relationship has already gone sour. The realization now hurts, thus affecting quality of life, well being and success. Evaluate, improve & change own perspective rather than judging others to lead a happy life.

Meditation paves the way for better understanding & compassion toward oneself & others. A few moments of meditation each day encourages one to “live in the moment” soothes the mind & boosts one’s self-esteem. It also replaces the worrying or critical thoughts by positive affirmations thus minimizing the chances of upsets & harm created by the negative emotions.

Meditation can help one to break the cycle of judging others because mind will become accustomed to positive thoughts & affirmations in the present moment. It helps one release negative perspective of others. The inner calm it provides also leads to enhanced creativity. One feels a surge of energizing love that positively affects every aspect of one’s life and those around.

Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve.

Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve.

Life is hectic & complicated. Everyone is fighting for time. Create a purpose to determine your existence. Uncertainties make one worry and unhappy.  Realize uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Experience makes life better not bitter. Experience is a hard teacher, it tests and provides lessons. Struggle and endurance to problems develop inner strength and enhances Mental Strength. Look inside, awaken and gain insight to count your blessings. Be grateful & satisfied with whatever you have achieved to remain motivated. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith & drop the fear. Don’t believe your doubts & doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve.

Key Lesson: Resistance always bites the hand that feeds it.

Stop Biting Yourself! by Guy Finley

Key Lesson: Resistance always bites the hand that feeds it.

The Power to Leave Painful Thoughts & Feelings Behind You

Just as a storm in the atmosphere of the earth is born of conflicting fronts of different temperatures colliding with one another, so too must there be conflicting forces within us in order to form a mental or emotional storm. Our task is to become conscious of these unseen forces that dwell in the unenlightened parts of us. As we grow to realize that no disturbance can remain within us without our granting it the force it needs to sustain its fury, we realize that we have at our disposal two great powers. We are empowered to dismiss storms when they appear in our psychic system &, with time & practice, we can learn to dismiss these disturbances before they begin!
The storms in our lives all share a common cause. Each storm, large or small, centers around something that happens to us that we don't want to be happening for whatever reasons...

Imagine a woman caught in an emotional firestorm of anger because she does not wanted to be treated like that. Or a man who feels trapped by a tormenting depression because he doesn't want what life continues to bring to him. Can we see that these two storms share a common root? Both rise as they do because of our unconscious resistance to something that has already happened.

Whenever we face an unwanted event & find ourselves feeling nothing but resistance, we can discover that this stress-mess is made from our insistence that this should not have happened. And how about when we recall past mistakes, painfully reliving how we fell down -- either a moment ago or 10 years back? Aren't we sure that whatever that error may have been -- it shouldn't have taken place?

The storms we suffer are not born simply from any particular event that takes place, but rather they rise from an unknown ground in us due to our undetected resistance to them. Further, these unwanted events that we so strongly resist are not the actual events themselves. What we secretly struggle against in these moments are unwanted images of that event fashioned by ourselves. This occurs, for example, when we imagine a fearful future, or see ourselves thrown for a social loss of some sort. In these moments we suffer, as we do, because we are looking at what we don't want to see. And then, because we don't know that we have been tricked into giving these negative fantasies our attention, we try to imagine ways to escape their punishing presence. The more we struggle to get away, the more attention we inadvertently lend to what we wish would disappear! It's a great paradox: not wanting to look upon what is bothering us keeps what is bothering us in plain view! But now we are beginning to see our way out of this trap.

From this moment forward, whenever some dark storm appears in us, we must neither run from it, nor stand there & hate what we think is happening. Instead we must awaken to ourselves, bring ourselves back into the Now & quietly, deliberately, drop any image that our thought-nature presents within us to justify the brewing conflict. Learning to dismiss the storms that sink our chances to be happy takes dedicated inner work, but you may be assured such powers are possible. Your True Nature already dwells beyond the reach of self-wrecking storms.

Read somewhere like to share.....

Instruction Manuals For Living
It can be overwhelming not knowing the way, but it is what you do along the way that matters.
Depending on what stage we are at in our lives, we can sometimes feel like we ought to know more about who we are or how to live. We may even berate ourselves for making the same mistakes, or for just not "getting it," whatever "it" may be. We wonder how our lives would be if only we had "known better." During moments like these, it is important to remember that none of us are born with instruction manuals and that learning lessons is a lifelong journey.

Inherent to our being born is that we are here to observe, learn, and grow. Accompanying this is a built-in guarantee that there will be mistakes and misadventures along the way. And while it is only natural that we may sometimes become overwhelmed, especially when the lessons keep coming, it is important to remember that learning to understand yourself and your world is an ongoing and active process where the journey is more important than the destination. Every lesson is intended so you can become more of who you are. As you grow through this self-discovery, you begin to create your own instruction manual. The "how" and "why" is yours to discover, and part of the beauty of being alive is that these rules are always changing.

If you feel that you would like to explore what your personal instruction manual may already say, then try writing down in order some of the significant events that have happened to you. It's also important to take note of what you learned from each one. When you are done, you may be surprised to discover how much you are always growing and that every lesson learned always informs the next. That being said, there is never a need to be hard on yourself or think that you should have it all figured out. We always know as much as we're meant to know at that moment, and growing into our fullness is a process that unfolds in divine timing. You and your life are beautiful works in progress. Discover yourself and embrace your life's lessons, and your instruction manual will create itself.
